Can you tell us a bit about your studies and your scientific field?
Past/present scientific fields of interest:
- disordered systems, amorphous materials, glass physics
- nanoparticles and nanostructures
- supercritical fluids
- multiferroics
Experimental techniques:
inelastic light scattering (Brillouin, Raman, X-ray), inelastic neutron scattering, and high pressure cells
Instrumental skills:
- installation of a tandem-multipass Fabry-Perot interferometer “Sandercock” (2005 -Laboratoire de Physico-Chemie des Materiaux Luminescents, Universite´ Claude Bernard, Lyon 1)
- installation of a grating monochromator “Sopra” DMDP 2000 (2006 – Dipartimento di Fisica, Universita´ “La Sapienza”, Roma)
- upgrade of the time-of-flight spectrometer TOFTOF (2011- FRM II)
